Welcome to DL's Blog site.
I am a recently unemployed, and more recently self-employed female, who is looking to blog with other women. We women have varied interests, and a need to discuss and debate with our peers. This forum is for us to "shake our sillies out" and explore what other women feel.
We all agree to:
keep it fairly clean, with minimal obscenities, no insults, no character assassinations, nor harsh judgements.
Interests: MY PET INTERESTS ARE:
- Standing up for not only ourselves, but each other, in a paternistic world that, more often than not, and in a "politically (so-called )correct" manner, reduces us to idealogical robots.
- Brainstorming on how to properly communicate to our young women about sexual health precautions,and inherent dangers of the current non-prescription popular drug use.
- Researching and exploring ways to communicate in a healthy way to the wonderful and important men in our lives, just how we need to be treated, and how to love and accept us as the wonderful and important
women that we are, and will become.
- Mental Health topics, i.e.) Depression, Anxiety, the feelings of "I think I must be going Mad!",
and the roots of these topics, which sometimes drive some of us women to lowered self-esteem.
- AbOriginal cultural and social issues and topics.
- My Adult Children and Step-Children.
